Contemporary Women Writers Book Group Online

For April, we will be reading Lost Children Archive by Valeria Luiselli. We will be holding our meeting virtually via Zoom. Register for this event to receive the meeting link and instructions for joining the discussion.

Discord Dungeons and Dragons for Teens

For teens, middle school and up, drop in for D&D! All skill levels welcome. We will be meeting virtually through an online server software called Discord. Discord requires an account but can be used through any web browser.

Lalo's Lunchbox LIVE on Facebook

Lalo's Lunchbox is an interactive livestreamed show for the whole family! Join us at facebook.com/northfieldpubliclibrary to participate. Viewers choose what happens next in the show, which includes sketch comedy, songs, and interaction aimed at teaching about healthy foods and the importance of being kind. Learn more about the show at laloslunchbox.com. Join us for songs, stories, and amazing facts about our planet in a special storytime. Geared to kids of all ages and their caregivers. Premiering on Facebook at 10:00a.m., will be archived for later viewing at your convenience.

STEM Mystery Bag Challenge on Zoom 

For elementary-aged kids. What will be in your mystery bag? Using recyclables, odds & ends, scissors, and tape (all supplies provided), build something to solve the design challenge posed on a card in your bag. Each bag has a different challenge. Then, share your challenge and show and tell us about what you engineered to solve it on Zoom! Program limited to 20 kids (adults are welcome to attend alongside them!) Please register at mynpl.org/events by April 11 and pick up your mystery bag at the children’s desk sometime between April 12 and April 20. This will give you time to construct your solution before the April 24 program!
