What library resources are available while the building is closed?

The library provides a range of digital offerings, including eBooks and eAudiobooks from Libby and RBDigital, streaming movies on Kanopy, online databases for research and homework, and Lynda.com, an online learning platform with thousands of tutorials.

 

What if my items are due?  Will there be late fees?

Keep all library materials you may have during this time; do not return them to the library until we reopen. No overdue fines will be charged.

 

Can I drop off my materials in the outdoor bookdrop?

The library bookdrops will be unavailable while we are closed.

 

What if my hold items are ready for pickup?

If you have materials on hold, we will keep them for you until the library reopens.

 

How can I get a library card?

Even when the library is closed, your card provides access to digital resources, including e-books and online databases, anytime.

To get a library account set up for access to digital resources, call the library at 507-645-6606 and leave a voicemail message with your name and phone number, or email northfieldref@gmail.com. Library staff will contact you to set up your new library account.Your physical library card will be available to pick up when the library reopens.
