Book Groups hosted by the Northfield Public Library: Crime Fiction

A list of all Northfield Public Library sponsored book groups

THE NORTHFIELD LIBRARY CRIME FICTION BOOK GROUP

The Northfield Public Library Crime Fiction Book Group meets nine times per year, January - June, September - November.  Meetings are held the third Monday from 6:30 - 7:30 pm at All Saints Church, 419 Washington St. in the Fireside Room.

Book titles are chosen for the following year at the November meeting.  Selections are based on suggestions from the library and from input from book group members.  Crime fiction titles are drawn from the mystery, suspense and thriller genres. Contemporary and earlier works written by authors from around the world that  are chosen are based on a number of criteria including literary significance and merit.

Book group members are responsible for obtaining copies of the books.  If a limited number of copies are available, arrangements to share copies may be made between members.

Meetings are free and open to the public but for purpose of planning RSVP's are requested.

For further information please contact Jamie Stanley, Reference Librarian at Jamie.Stanley@ci.northfield.mn.us, 507-645-1802.
