The Friends and Foundation of the Northfield Public Library is a volunteer, nonprofit organization with more than 275 members. Since 1982, the group has supported the Northfield Public Library by contributing financial support for supplemental services, providing material for children's programs, and sponsoring activities to aid the library and community. The Northfield Public Library Teen Advisory Board is a service group that gives teens a voice at our library, and makes the library a better place for teens to visit and find what they need. The board is open to teens in middle-high school. Members volunteer to plan, promote, and implement programs for teen events, in addition to making purchase suggestions for the YA collection.
