Northfield Public Library Book Groups

July 2020

Facilitated by former Adult Services Librarian Joan Ennis, the Contemporary Women Writers Book Group meets virtually the third Tuesday of the month from 7:00 pm in the library.  Books are selected for the following year each September.  

Although the group primarily reads fiction by living women authors, they occasionally read works by living male authors, as well as nonfiction written by women and men. 

As facilitator, Joan begins meetings with background information on the writer.  No advance signup is required to join meetings .To join a meeting click on this link:  Then click on the   Begin Registration

Facilitated by Adult Services Librarian Jamie Stanley, the Northfield  Public Library Mystery Book Group meet the third Monday of the month.  Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the group has been meeting outdoors at City of Northfield picnic sites from 6 :30 - 8:00 pm.  Social distancing measures are in place with group members wearing face masks.  As the summer progresses meeting options for other locations will be announced.  

 New book group members are always welcome!
