An identification card issued by the City of Northfield to provide to the community an alternative identification to access city programs, services, and activities, and provide a means to substantiate a person's identity.

Some Northfield banks may accept the Northfield City ID as a secondary form of identification in a bank transaction; please check with your bank directly for their identification policies.
We are now testing the data base for digital storage and retrieval for the City ID, finalizing text design and format, and working with workflow logistics at the library and at City Hall. We're also working with members of the community in a PR campaign promoting the ID card. Staff training, volunteer training and test runs of the system will take place in May, with the opening day scheduled for June 4, Monday. At this time we are not yet taking applications. Please check back for up-to-date information.
We have tentatively scheduled time for Northfield residents to apply for a City ID at the time below. As we get nearer to actual implementation this schedule may change; updated hours will be posted on this website.
